    Preparation and Safety

    Cooking instructions

    Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before use. Oven cooked from chilled.

    Before Cooking:- Remove all packaging including the peach pad . Take the beef out of the packaging 30 minutes before cooking. Preheat the oven to 180C/Fan 160C/ Gas 4.

    During Cooking:- Place the joint into a roasting dish with the topping facing up. To cook rare 1 hour 35 minutes, Medium 2 hours, Well Done 2 hours 25 minutes.

    After Cooking:- Remove the beef and allow to rest for 10-20 minutes

    Warnings

    • Keep raw meat separate from cooked foods. Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw meat and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly between use. Wash hands after handling raw meat. This product should be cooked throughout until it is piping hot throughout.

      If cooked rare there is a small risk that harmful bacteria may be present.

      Defrost thoroughly and consume within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once defrosted.

    Storage

    For use by date: see front of pack. Keep refrigerated, once opened use within 24 hours and do not exceed the use by date.

    For best Quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen consume within 3 months. Once defrosted use the same day
