Do not wash raw turkey.
Keep raw poultry separate from cooked foods.
Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw poultry and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly in between use.
Wash hands after handling raw poultry.
Always ensure the product is piping hot throughout and the juices run clear when a skewer is inserted into the deepest part of the flesh.
When cooked some pinking may remain on the surface of the turkey due to being in contact with the bacon. This is a natural occurrence and completely safe.
Although every care has been taken to remove all bones, some may remain.
