Oven cooked from chilled
Before Cooking: Preheat oven to 200C/fan 180C/Gas mark 6,Take the beef out of packaging 30 minutes before cooking. Rub the joint with 5ml of oil and season with sea salt and pepper. For Rare - place the beef in the oven and cook for 1 hour 28 minutes, For Medium - place the beef in the oven and cook for 1 hour 40 minutes, For Well Done - place the beef in the oven and cook for 1 hour 55 mins
During Cooking:- Baste Occasionally
After Cooking: Remove the beef and allow to rest for 30 minutes. Check food is pipping hot. All cooking appliances vary. This is only a guide. If cooked rare there is a small risk that harmful bacteria may be present.
For use by date: see front of pack. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, use within 24 hours and do not exceed the use by date.
For best Quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen consume within 3 months. Once defrosted use the same day
Defrost thoroughly and consume within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
