Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking.
Preheat oven. Remove the
film & trussing band. Brush the chicken
lightly with oil. Loosely cover with foil and
and place foil container on a baking tray on
the middle shelf of the oven.
Baste occasionally. Cook for
2 hours. Remove the foil and cook for a
further 45 minutes.
Check food is piping hot.
Leave to stand for 10 minutes before
carving. The surface of the chicken may be
slightly pink after cooking due to the curing
salts in the bacon. All cooking appliances
vary. This is a guide only.

Keep refrigerated. Once opened use with 24 hours and do not exceed use by date.
