Oven cook from chilled.
200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6. 1hr 30 minutes.
If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking.
Before cooking: Preheat oven. Remove all packaging and set aside sauce sachet for later use. Leave sachet containing the beef short rib at room temperature for 15 minutes. Place the beef short rib and juices onto a roasting tray.
During cooking: Place on middle shelf of oven
and cook for 60 minutes, basting regularly with
the juices from the beef short rib.
Remove from oven and drain off juices into a
Return the beef short rib to the oven and cook
for a further 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and loosely cover with
foil and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
After cooking: Whilst the beef short rib is
resting transfer the contents of the sauce
sachet to a small saucepan and add in ½ of the
meat juices from the jug.
Warm over a medium heat and bring up to a simmer for 2-3 minutes, stir frequently.
Place the beef short rib onto a serving dish and
pour over the sauce.
