Our pigs are born outdoors and after weaning are moved inside to be reared in straw bedded barns.

Cooking instructions

To oven cook from chilled
Preheat oven to 190°C / Fan 170°C / Gas 5. 30 mins.
Before cooking: Remove all packaging. Place sausages on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven.
During cooking: Cook in the centre of the oven for 30 minutes, turning halfway through. After cooking: Check food is piping hot throughout and all juices run clear.

Warnings

  • When cooked some pinking may occur of the sausages due to being in contact with the bacon. This is a natural occurrence and completely safe.

    This product is not suitable for rare cooking. Do not undercook raw meat. Keep raw meat separate from cooked foods. Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw meat and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly between use. Wash hands after handling raw meat. Raw meat may contain organisms hazardous to health. Cook thoroughly until piping hot throughout and the juices run clear. If not fully cooked in accordance with the instructions harmful bacteria may remain.

Storage

For use by date: see front of pack. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, use within 2 days and do not exceed the use by date.
For best quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen use within 2 months.
Defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
