Cooking instructions
Oven cook from chilled only. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before cooking.
180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas 5. 40 mins per kg + 60 mins.
Before cooking: Refer to weight label on the front of the pack for the specific roasting time. Preheat oven. Remove bag leaving the turkey crown in the provided tray and cover loosely with foil. Place on a roasting tray on the middle shelf of the oven.
During cooking: 30 minutes before the end of cooking remove foil and baste crown with juices. Baste regularly during cooking.
After cooking: Once cooked, remove from the oven. Always ensure the product is piping hot throughout, the juices run clear when a skewer is inserted and no pink colour remains in the deepest part of the flesh. Leave to rest for 30 minutes prior to carving.
