British Free Range Medium Bronze Turkey Crown Filled with a Pork, Chestnut, Apple Mulled Cider & Cider & Treacle Stuffing & Wrapped In Treacle Cured Smoked Bacon.
Our free range bronze turkeys are a traditional slower growing breed, specially selected for their full flavour and succulent texture. The traditional bronze turkey breed has dark feathers which when plucked may leave small coloured marks on the skin. This is natural and will not affect the quality and will reduce in appearance upon cooking. The plump turkey crown comes from one of our free range flocks. Crowns are quicker to cook and easier to carve at the table, giving you tender, juicier breast meat to enjoy... that's why you can taste the difference

Oven cook from chilled only.
180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas 4.
40 mins per kg + 30 mins.
Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before cooking.
Before cooking: Refer to weight label on the front of the pack for the specific roasting time. Preheat oven. Remove the outer bag leaving the turkey crown in the provided tray. Place sauce sachet to one side, cover the turkey crown with foil and place on a roasting tray on the middle shelf of the oven.
During cooking: After 1 hour of cooking, remove foil and baste crown with juices. Baste regularly during cooking. For the final 10 minutes of cooking, pour glaze over from sachet and finish cooking.
After cooking: Once cooked, remove from the oven.
Check food is piping hot throughout, all juices run clear and no pink colour remains. Leave to rest for 20 minutes prior to carving. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only
