To oven cook from chilled. 200°C/Fan
180°C/Gas Mark 6. 2 hours
Before cooking: Remove all packaging and set the sauce sachet to one side. Place
the joint on a foil lined baking tray. Cover the
meat loosely with foil, creating a tent over the
joint. Place in the centre of the oven.
After cooking: Remove the joint from the oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes in a warm place. Carefully remove the strings with scissors. Whilst the joint is resting, place the unopened sauce sachet in a pan of water and bring to the boil. Remove from the heat and leave sachet in the water for 5 minutes.
Carefully remove the sachet from the hot water and pour the sauce over the meat to serve. Check food is piping hot and all juices run clear. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
To air fry from chilled. 180°C 2 hours 15 min.
Before cooking: Preheat air fryer. Remove all packaging and set the sauce sachet to one side. Cover the meat loosely with foil, creating a tent over the joint. Place into the air fryer, ensuring that there is a sufficient space between the joint and the air fryer element.
During cooking: Cook for 1 hour 50 minutes. Remove the top of the foil to expose the top of the joint and cook for a further 25 minutes.
After cooking: Remove from the air fryer and allow to rest for 10 minutes in a warm place. Carefully remove the strings with scissors. Whilst the joint is resting, place the unopened sauce sachet in a pan of water and bring to the boil. Remove from the heat and leave sachet in the water for 5 minutes.
