Oven cook from chilled only. 20 mins per kg + 50 mins - Conventional 170°c /Fan 140°c / Gas mark 3. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before cooking.
Before Cooking: Refer to the weight label on the front of the pack for the specific roasting time. Preheat oven and remove all packaging. Place the turkey crown in an ovenproof roasting tin. For best results pour 500ml of cold water into the ovenproof roasting tin around the turkey crown. Place the turkey crown in the centre of the oven.
During Cooking: Periodically spoon the juices in the bottom of the ovenproof roasting tin over the turkey crown to baste and return to the oven.
After cooking: Once cooked, remove the turkey crown from the oven. Check food is piping hot and no pink colour remains. Cover with foil and rest upside down for 30 minutes before carving. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
For use by date: see front of pack. Keep refrigerated. Do not exceed the use by date.
Freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen consume within 1 month.
Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 20 hours in a refrigerator and once defrosted, cook within 24 hours. Ensure the turkey crown is completely defrosted by checking there are no ice crystals in the cavity. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
