Oven cook from chilled.
Before Cooking: Remove all packaging. Take the beef out of the packaging 30 minutes before cooking.
During cooking: Rub the joint with 5ml of oil, For rare, place the joint in the oven and cook for 8-11 minutes per 500g, For medium - place the joint in the oven and cook for 12-15 minutes per 500g, For well done - place the joint in the oven and cook for 16-20 minutes per 500g
After Cooking: Remove the beef and allow to rest for 20 minutes and season to taste. Check food is piping hot. Please ensure that the string is removed after carving. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. If cooked rare there is a small risk that harmful bacteria may be present.
For use by date: see front of pack. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, use within 24 hours and do not exceed the use by date.
For best Quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen consume within 3 months. Once defrosted use the same day
Defrost thoroughly and consume within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
