Cooking instructions

To oven Cook from chilled. Before cooking: Preheat oven to 200°C. / Fan 180°C / Gas 6. Remove all packaging. Place joint on a foil lined baking tray. Cover the meat loosely with foil, creating a tent. During cooking: Cook for 2 hours. After cooking: Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes in a warm place. Carefully remove top section of the foil and remove the strings with scissors. Whilst resting, place the unopened sauce sachet in a pan of water and bring to the boil. Remove from the heat and leave sachet in water for 5 minutes. Carefully remove the sachet from the hot water and pour the sauce over the meat to serve. Check food is piping hot and all juices run clear. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only


  • This product is not suitable for rare cooking. Do not undercook raw meat. Keep raw meat separate from cooked foods. Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw meat and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly between use. Wash hands after handling raw meat. Raw meat may contain organisms hazardous to health. Keep Refrigerated For best Quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen consume within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly and consume within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once defrosted
