Time 20 minutes per kg + 50 minutes 170°C / Fan 140°C / Gas 3

If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator before cooking.

Before Cooking: Refer to the weight label on the front of the pack for the specific roasting time. Preheat oven and remove all packaging. Place the turkey crown in an ovenproof roasting tin. For best results pour 500ml of cold water into the roasting tin around the turkey crown. Place the turkey crown in the centre of the oven.

During Cooking: Periodically spoon the juices in the bottom of the roasting tin over the turkey crown to baste and return to the oven.

After cooking: Remove the turkey crown from the oven. Check food is piping hot and no pink colour remains. Cover with foil and rest upside down for 30 minutes before carving.

All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.

  • Do not stuff the turkey crown - the stuffing must be cooked separately
Keep raw poultry separate from cooked foods. Use separate kitchen utensils for raw poultry and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly between use. Wash hands after handling raw poultry.
