Description

Our plump British chicken breasts are a labour of love: expertly marinated in a blend of garlic, parsley and thyme so they're infused with rich flavour. We wrap them by hand in oak-smoked streaky bacon and slow cook them until they're tender and beautifully succulent. They're served with chestnut mushrooms, sweet whole Chantenay carrots basted in West Country butter and crispy roasted diced potatoes. And for sheer indulgence we've added a creamy sauce, laced with earthy truffles and authentic Italian prosecco.

Cooking instructions

Oven cook from chilled.
220°C / Fan 200°C / Gas 7. 40 mins.

Before cooking: Preheat oven.
Remove product from box and place the sachets to one side.
Decant the diced potatoes and all the butter onto a flat ovenable tray.
Place tray in the centre of the oven and cook for 20 minutes.

During Cooking: After 10 minutes of cooking the potatoes, decant the chicken breasts and mushrooms into one of the foil trays provided, discard all cooking juices.
Place tray in the centre of the oven and cook for 30 minutes.
Remove the potatoes from the oven, shake/turn and return to the oven for the final 20 minutes.
Decant the carrots and all the butter into the second foil tray provided. Place tray in the centre of the oven and cook for 20 minutes.

After cooking: 5 minutes before the end of cook, decant the sauce into a pan and heat over a medium heat for 3 minutes stirring throughout until hot or heat as per microwave instructions.
Remove all trays from the oven and follow serving instructions.
The chicken may be slightly pink after cooking due to the curing salts in the bacon.

Before cooking: Empty the content of sauce sachet into a microwavable bowl and cover.

During cooking: Heat on full power for the indicated time, stir halfway through. Carefully remove from microwave.
