Oven from Chilled:
Preheat oven to 190°C / Fan 170°C / Gas Mark 5. 2hrs 15 mins
Before Cooking: Remove all packaging and place sauce sachet to one side for later use. Place the gammon on a baking tray lined with foil and place in the centre of the oven.
During cooking: Cook for 2 hours 15 minutes. Remove the gammon from the oven, carefully discard the cooking juices and allow to rest for 10 minutes before carving.
After cooking: While the meat is resting, place the unopened sachet into a large jug or pan of freshly boiled water and allow to warm for at least 5 minutes. Drizzle the contents of the sachet over the sliced meat before serving. Check food is piping hot throughout and the juices run clear. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
