Our free range bronze turkeys are a traditional slower growing breed, specially selected for their full flavour and succulent texture. This plump turkey crown comes from one of our free range flocks. Crowns are quicker to cook and easier to carve at the table, giving you tender, juicier breast meat to enjoy...that's why you can taste the difference.

Cooking instructions
Oven cook from chilled. 180ºC / Fan 160ºC / Gas 5. 40 mins per kg + 60 mins.
If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking.
Before cooking: Preheat oven. Remove all packaging except foil tray. Place sachet of glaze to one side. Place foil tray on a baking tray and loosely cover the foil tray with a large piece of foil making a dome over the top of the turkey. Place in the centre of the oven.
During cooking: Cook for 40 minutes per kilo plus 60 minutes, baste and rotate the tray every 30 minutes. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking time, baste and return to the oven to allow the skin to become golden and the bacon crisp. 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time, drizzle glaze over the top of the crown.
After cooking: Cover with foil and allow to rest for 20-30 minutes. Remove herb garnish and bacon before carving. Check food is piping hot throughout, all juices run clear and no pink colour remains.
