Oven cook from chilled
200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 7

Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Preheat oven. Remove all packaging and set the melt to one side. Leave lamb at room temperature for 20 minutes.
During cooking: Place the lamb in a roasting tin in the centre of the preheated oven and cook for 3 minutes and 30 seconds per 100g. After cooking: Remove from oven, cover lamb in foil and leave to rest for 15 minutes. Whilst the lamb is resting, melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat for 1 minute. Place the rested lamb onto a chopping board and thinly slice. Serve the lamb on a warm plate with melted butter poured over.
If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
